Alexia Macbeth, est une mezzo-soprano franco-britannique, diplômée de la Royal Guildhall School of Music and Drama et de la Central School of Speech and Drama, à Londres. Membre d’Opera Fuoco (David Stern, direction) pendant trois saisons, elle chante les rôles de Cherubino Nozze di Figaro, le rôle titre Lady in the Dark (K.Weill), le rôle titre Serse (Handel), Soprano II solo Messe en Si à la Philharmonie de Paris and Gelasius Richardus Löwenherz (Telemann) au Theater Magdeburg.
Elle poursuit sa carrière de soliste en France (Opéras de Reims, de Massy, de Vichy, Philharmonie de Paris) et à l’étranger (Theater Magdeburg, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Opera Zuid). Pour la saison 22/23, elle reprend le rôle titre dans Lady in the Dark, K. Weill avec Opera Zuid, chante la Cigogne dans Le rêveur de la Lune, H.Moody à l’Opéra Grand Avignon et Echo dans une création de Fred Frith au lieu Unique.
La saison dernière, elle est Sœur Mathilde Dialogue des Carmélites at Massy Opera, Lavinia A letter for Emily (Lockrem Johnson) avec la compagnie Winterreise, Lulu (role titre) les Années Folles à la Philharmonie du Luxembourg et Giulia Scala di Seta (Rossini) avec Opera Zuid.
Alexia Macbeth is a French-British Mezzo-Soprano born in Paris.
She holds a BA in classical singing from the Royal Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and an acting diploma from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
